New & Expecting Moms,

This is a special time in your life.

Savor every moment.

Maternity is a major life transition...

While there are many joys and excitements that come with welcoming a child into the world, pregnancy and postpartum can also be periods of increased stress for mothers (and their partners). From worrying about the health of the baby, to fearing the experience of labor and delivery, all while facing uncomfortable physical and emotional symptoms,1 it’s no wonder why 25% of women report increased stress during pregnancy.2

In addition to the physical changes, pregnancy also brings with it other major life changes such as the financial considerations of raising a child, preparing for maternity leave or career transitions, and adjusting to life with a newborn.

The postpartum period can also be stressful due to lack of sleep, changes in routine, and internal and external pressure to be a good parent.

The good news is that there are tools you can learn to reduce stress, be more present, and find moments of joy during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
